A Famous Author And The One Success Principle.
The pursuit of anything important to you does not always come easily. In the online world tales of the ten hour work week and six figure income are the gleaming candy. They get you salivating for the wonderful chocolate to come. But is it that easy? Not really. Most of the people who legitimately are able to do that have slaved away for years. They put in long hard hours before they figured it out. Its very rarely that the overnight success happened overnight.
I don’t know why you want to earn money from the internet. Everyone has their own story. Perhaps you simply want it to replace your job income or the job you lost. That is great and I applaud you for thinking outside the restricted box of society. So many are still stuck in the 9-5 mentality. We have been raised with it for generations. Dad had a job, Grandpa had a job and his dad before that. It’s time to break the cycle and start building a life for yourself. One that better supports your values.
Maybe you are an artist or an inventor and your dream is still in your heart. The internet therefore may simply be a better way to earn money while you pursue your real dreams.
In either case there is one thing that you must keep in mind to make it work. That is?
I got to meet my favorite mystery writer this month. The timing was always off and for years I just missed him. I was able to let him know how much I appreciated his work. Success for T. Jefferson Parker may never have come. His first novel Laguna Heat was only a thought in his head till he got it on paper. Inspired by the likes of Raymond Chandler those thoughts evolved into a novel. Yet it still took 5 years of rewriting and rewriting till it was born and shared with the public. It was a constant battle with himself to get it done.
Imagine if he had given up and thrown in the towel. Where would he be now if he had? Are you ready to throw in the towel and settle for less? I hope not. I see great things for all of you who follow your dreams. One step at a time one day at a time. That’s where to begin or continue from if your hope was waning.
Persistence is without a doubt a key component to success!
